JIT History

Mr. Sam Oishi established JIT Automation Inc. in 1982 through his extensive experience in creating the ideal manufacturing environment. He has studied & worked with Dr. Edwards Deming and Mr. Shigeo Shingo, two of the foremost proponents and practitioners of "Just In Time" lean production methods and the "Kaizen Theory of Continuous Plant Improvement". He is a frequent speaker on these subjects and has published numerous articles and papers on reducing manufacturing costs through the elimination of waste.

Canadian by birth, Mr. Oishi received his bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

As a preferred supplier to the automotive and appliance industries since the early 1980's, JIT Automation has become a world leader in its field.
